Get to know Cam Priebe
One of my favourite things to do is paddle out on the lake in my kayak on a perfect summer day. There’s something special about the combination of movement, stillness, and the natural beauty of a calm lake framed by tree-lined shores. If all goes well, I’ll spot an eagle overhead. The quiet solitude of kayaking often gives me the chance to see them in action, and their grace and focus always strike me.
I love watching them soar, effortlessly gliding, and completely attuned to their environment. Then, with laser-like focus, they zero in on what matters, shut out distractions, and take decisive action.

This imagery has become a powerful metaphor for leadership and coaching. Great leadership requires a similar posture: staying aware of yourself and your surroundings, discerning what truly matters, and moving with clarity and intention. Like the eagle, transformational leadership begins with awareness and grows through intentional action.
My own coaching journey began in 2009, when I took a coach training course that sparked something deep in me. It gave me tools and language that connected with how I already led—and revealed how much of an impact I could have by helping others uncover their potential. That experience ignited a passion in me to walk alongside others on their leadership journey, supporting their growth, clarity and courage.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of coaching, mentoring, and training leaders in a wide range of contexts—pastors, nonprofit directors, educators, business owners, and developing leaders. Across both faith-based and marketplace settings, I’ve been continually energized by the transformation that happens when people feel supported, heard, and empowered.
Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of helping leaders navigate change, overcome challenges, and realize their potential. What I love most about coaching is partnering with people as they grow personally and professionally. Watching the ripple effects of that growth—on their teams, organizations, and communities—is incredibly fulfilling.
